Breast lifting (circular mastopexy procedure)

    Breast lifting is recommended in the cases of expressed atrophy of mammary glands and mastoptosis or with the purpose of correction of the size or shape of nipples; it can be either a separate surgical procedure or in combination with implantation.

    Breast lifting is performed in accordance with circular mastopexy method: the cut is made at the nipple's pigment line, thus allowing minimization of the visibility of postoperative scars due to the peculiarities of the structure of nipple's areola tissues.

    In contrast to other breast lift methods (for example, reduction mammoplasty), circular mastopexy leaves the possibility of breastfeeding.

    Breast lift surgery is made in the conditions of intravenous anesthesia at the inpatient department. Rehabilitation period takes about 2-3 weeks (during which the wearing of compression garments is recommended along with the course of ultrasound therapeutic procedures).

Reduction mammoplasty

    Significant reduction of mammary glands can lead to a whole series of adverse events. These are: changes in spine architecture leading to pains, faults in posture, development of skin irritation and infections beneath the breast. Reduction mammoplasty or breast lifting can be performed due to aesthetic considerations but more often there are medical indications related to present complaints.

    Examination and preparation are the same as in the case of other surgery on mammary glands. Preoperative marking allows planning of skin cuts and reduction size. Surgery is conducted on the condition of general anesthesia and take about two hours. Special surgical method helps to prevent mastoptosis in the future. Surgery effect can be seen right after the surgery but the final effect is achieved in some months after the surgery.
