Patient P., 29
Diagnosis: breast asymmetry. The aim was to moderately enlarge the breast and eliminate its asymmetry. The patient chose an areolar operative approach, because a submammary (under the breast) one is unaesthetic, while an axellary (from armpits) is uncomfortable, as it can be visible while wearing open clothes and rising hands. Bio-implantation was performed in 2008. Implants of different size were inserted: anatomic V230 was implanted into the right breast, anatomic V270 – into the left one. The implants were installed under the pectoral muscle, as the tissues were suitable for this technique. Areolar approach (2 cm). The duration of the operation – 1 h 20 min. The patient stayed at the clinic for two days, wore compression hosiery for 14 days. Rehabilitation period – 10 days. The met the patient and surgeon’s expectations.
